Wayne County Public Schools issued the following announcement on Oct. 24.
Wednesday, Oct. 26, will be an early release day for most Traditional Calendar schools, Carver Heights Elementary, and Goldsboro High.
All schools, except WEMCHS, WSTA, and WSE, will dismiss 2-hours early.
