…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 11 AM EST SATURDAY…

* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of up to one inch.

* WHERE…The central and southern Coastal Plain of central NC.

* WHEN…From midnight tonight to 11 AM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The precipitation may begin as a brief period of rain this afternoon into early evening, before quickly changing to snow. 

Winds will gust as high as 35 mph tonight.
