City of Goldsboro issued the following announcement on Feb. 13.
The Community Relations & Development Department announces the availability of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds for Public Services.
The primary objective of the federal CDBG program is to develop viable communities by providing decent housing, suitable living environments, and economic development opportunities, principally to low-and-moderate income residents.
Attendance at a pre-application conference is required in order to apply for funding.
A conference will be held at 2 p.m. today (Feb. 15) in the Large Conference Room at City Hall.
