City of Goldsboro issued the following announcement on Oct. 17.
Today a groundbreaking was held for the Goldsboro Business Campus in Goldsboro, NC. The event was attended by representatives from the City of Goldsboro, Wayne County, Wayne County Development Alliance, its board members, investors, and local industry leaders.
The business campus consists of 118 acres and is designed to promote a business incubator environment with lots ranging in size from 2.5 – 5.0 acres. The campus is listed as a Duke Energy Site Readiness certified site and is part of a 3-way agreement between the WCDA, the City of Goldsboro, and the County of Wayne to develop the property.
Phase 1 construction includes paved streets, curb and gutter, sidewalk, entrance signage, erosion control, grading, storm drainage, sewer, water, and gas connections.
WCDA is excited to see this project get underway!
