City of Goldsboro issued the following announcement on Jan. 10.

Exciting news! Starting next Tuesday, January 17th, the Goldsboro Library has the pleasure of hosting the African American Musicians of North Carolina interactive exhibit! 

This exhibit celebrates the contributions of individuals and bands to regional and popular culture.

The exhibit will feature various musical genres highlighting African American musicians of North Carolina. 

Listen to Black North Carolinian string bands, blues, gospel, jazz, soul, funk, and hip hop while you learn more about each musician and band.
