City of Goldsboro issued the following announcement on Dec. 26.
Residents are reminded not to place trash bags, boxes, or any other items next to or on top of the garbage bins.
Our automated garbage trucks cannot collect these items.
To prevent further leaf and limb collection delays, please separate the leaves from small limbs and pinecones.
Limbs and pinecones damage the leaf vacuum blades and must be collected separately from the leaves.
