City of Goldsboro issued the following announcement on Oct. 24.
We have been made aware of an unauthorized “Fall Festival at Herman Park” event, advertised for “Novemberth 5th & 6th,” that has been shared numerous times on Facebook by a Brandley Sue Wilky.
This is a fake event and we are aware of at least one person who has had their money taken from them. Please do not fall for their scam.
This individual has had multiple scams across multiple states..
