City of Kinston issued the following announcement on Oct. 24.

The City of Kinston is conducting a search for a new Police Chief. We invite the community of Kinston to contribute on the experience, management, and leadership qualities you would like to see in the City’s next Police Chief, along with any other issues you may feel are relevant to the selection process. 

Survey results will be compiled in time to help inform the selection of finalist candidates for further vetting and possible interviews. 

The number of participants and the collected results will be made publicly available by the City after receipt. 

Your answers are strictly anonymous. No implied names, email addresses, or other personal information will be collected or shared with the City of Kinston.
