City of Kinston Police Department issued the following announcement on Jan. 10.

The Kinston Police Department would like to introduce our newest Police Trainees. 

They will start Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) on January 17, 2023, at Lenoir Community College. 

 Upon completion they will be assigned to the Patrol Division where they will complete the KPD’s Field Training Program. 

 Please welcome Hudson Conner, Jeremy Falkowski, Ketia Moore, Shawn Leonard, & Richard Custer.
