Clinton Police Department issued the following announcement on Oct. 2.
Beware of yet another scam going around. A customer relayed this one to us today that is purportedly from Star Vision. Do not click the link on any text like this, and most definitely do not give them your information.
Please be mindful that scammers are constantly finding new ways to get your information and if ever you feel something is too good to be true, it most likely is. Thank you to those who contacted us regarding this text so we could relay the information to others and make everyone aware.
