Clinton Police Department issued the following announcement on Aug. 16.
Back to School Friends and Family Cookout event was a success. The Clinton Police Department would like to thank Clinton Fire Department, Sampson County 4-H and the Newkirk Park committee for their support. Kids had a blast playing the water games, dunking School Resource Officer Banos, interacting with other PD Officers and taking pictures with K-9 Jax. To everyone that came out in support, thank you for joining us.
