County of Duplin issued the following announcement on Sept. 1.
Duplin County in partnership with FOCUS Broadband (formerly ATMC) has been awarded another GREAT Grant through the NC Dept. of Information Technology’s Broadband Infrastructure Office.
Today Governor Cooper announced that Duplin County was one of 69 counties receiving grants during this round.
The total project funded for Duplin County includes providing funding to add over 72 miles of fiber, which will provide service to over 948 addresses (residential and business), with a total investment of $4,571,700!
