County of Duplin issued the following announcement on Jan. 26.

Upcoming COVID testing and vaccine events by the Duplin County Health Department:

COVID PCR Testing at the Duplin County Health Department. No appointment, ID, or insurance is necessary. 

January 26, 8:30 am – 11:30 am (or while supplies last)

January 28, 8:30 am – 11:30 am (or while supplies last)

January 31, 8:30 am – 11:30 am (or while supplies last)

February 2, 8:30 am – 11:30 am (or while supplies last)

February 4, 8:30 am – 11:30 am (or while supplies last)

COVID Vaccine Events. No ID or insurance is necessary.

January 25, 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm (Pfizer) at the Health Department (next Pfizer event will be Feb. 15)

January 28, 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm (Moderna) at the Health Department

January 28, 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm (Moderna) at Maria Reina Catholic Church, 636 Whitfield Rd, Mt. Olive. Flu vaccinations will also be available.

February 4, 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm (Moderna) at the Health Department
