County of Duplin issued the following announcement on June 1.
As required by N.C.G.S. §159-12, notice is hereby given that the budget estimate for Duplin County for Fiscal Year 2022-23 was presented by the Budget Officer to the Board of Commissioners on Monday, May 16, 2022. Pursuant to N.C.G.S § 158-7.1(c) notice is also hereby given that the budget for the Duplin County Economic Development Department for Fiscal Year 2022-23 is included in said budget. A copy of both budgets are available for public inspection in the County Manger’s Office located at 224 Seminary Street, Kenansville, N.C. The required Public Hearing on the Fiscal Year 2022-23 Duplin County Budget including the Economic Development Department’s budget will be held on Monday, June 6th, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. at the Lois G. Britt Agricultural Building in the Ed Emory Auditorium located at 165 Agricultural Drive, Kenansville, NC 28349
