County of Duplin issued the following announcement on Jan. 16.

Upcoming COVID testing and vaccine events by the Duplin County Health Department:

PCR COVID Testing at the Duplin County Health Department (no appointment, ID, nor insurance necessary):

January 12th from 8:30-11:30 am

January 14th from 8:30-11:30 am

January 19th from 8:30-11:30 am

January 21st from 8:30-11:30 am

January 24th from 8:30-11:30 am

Community COVID Vaccine Events at the Duplin County Health Department (no ID nor insurance necessary): 

January 12th from 1-4 pm (Moderna event) 

January 14th from 1-4 pm (Moderna event) 

January 19th from 1-4 pm (Moderna event) 

January 20th from 3-7 pm (Pfizer event)

January 21st from 1-4 pm (Moderna event) 

January 25th from 4-7 pm (Pfizer event)

There is also an upcoming Flu Vaccine Clinic (for anyone 6 months and older):

January 12th at Maria Reina Catholic Church located at 636 Whitfield Rd, Mt. Olive, from 5-8 pm.
