County of Lenoir issued the following announcement on Sep 24. 

 The leader or a member of a nonprofit group or organization that has been directly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic?

The leader or a member of a nonprofit group or organization that is helping the community recover from the COVID-19 pandemic?

If so, the Lenoir County Board of Commissioners may be able to help you and your nonprofit! Awards range from $10,000 to $50,000 to help offset the impacts and to help support your continued hard work in the community.

Your proposal should be aimed at prevention or mitigation of COVID-19 or to help offset economic impacts of the pandemic to either individuals or nonprofits. You can find out more information about the program by visiting https://lenoircountync.gov/business/bid-opportunities/.

The deadline to apply for this program, which is funded by the American Rescue Plan (ARP) is 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 15. A panel of individuals from the county manager’s office, along with a representative from the Board of Commissioners will review your proposal.
