County of Lenoir issued the following announcement on May 16

To maintain the safety of citizens, staff, and Commissioners and prevent the spread of the coronavirus.  The Board of Commissioners Meeting scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2022, will be conducted from the Lenoir County Courthouse, Commissioner’s Chamber, 130 S. Queen Street, Kinston, NC.  The agenda can be accessed and is available on the Lenoir County Government website at https://lenoircountync.gov/government/2022-board-of-commissioners-meetings/.

The public and news media can view the meeting via the Lenoir County website.  If you have public comments and you are not able to attend the meeting, public comments for the agenda should be submitted to the link listed below no later than Friday, May 13, 2022, by 5:00 p.m. to Ms. Vickie Freeman King, Clerk to the Board of Commissioners at https://forms.gle/nq8XDcVCAgUXbR8A6.

Lenoir County is making every effort to ensure that the public can listen to the meeting and participate in the public comments portion of the Board meeting while still maintaining statutory requirements and keeping the public safe.
