County of Lenoir issued the following announcement on Apr. 8.

* N.C. confirmed cases: 2,634,007 (+10,926 or +0.4 percent since March 25) 

* N.C. deaths: 23,257 (+98 or +0.4 percent since March 25) 

* N.C. currently hospitalized: 381 (-257 or -40.3 percent since March 25)

* Eastern Region currently hospitalized: 42 (-36 or -46.2 percent since March 25)

* Lenoir County confirmed cases: 15,747 (+51 or +0.3 percent since March 25)

* Lenoir County active cases: 12 (+3 or +33.3 percent since March 25)

* New Lenoir County confirmed cases — last 14 days: 14 (-8 or -36.4 percent since March 25)

* New Lenoir County confirmed cases — last seven days: 8 (no change since March 25)

*Lenoir County tests: 177,985 (+5,675 or +3.3 since Feb. 15)

* Lenoir County deaths: 197 (no change since March 18) 

* Lenoir County vaccinations (partially vaccinated): 32,792 (+58 or +0.2 percent since March 25; 59 percent of county residents)

* Lenoir County vaccinations (fully vaccinated): 30,790 (+63 or +0.2 percent since March 25; 55 percent of county residents)

* Lenoir County one booster/additional dose: 14,578 (+249 or +1.7 percent since March 25)
