County of Lenoir issued the following announcement on Jan. 14.

N.C. confirmed cases: 2,011,302 (+106,037 or +5.6 percent since Jan. 12.

* N.C. deaths: 19,903 (+197 or +1 percent since Jan. 12) 

* Percent of N.C. residents tested who are positive: 31.6 (+1.1 percent since Jan. 12)

* Percent of Lenoir County residents tested who are positive: 24.1 (+2.4 percent since Jan. 12)

* N.C. currently hospitalized: 4,381 (+390 or +9.8 percent since Jan. 12)

* Eastern Region currently hospitalized: 559 (+91 or +19.4 percent since Jan. 12)

* Lenoir County confirmed cases: 11,696 (+383 or +3.4 percent since Jan. 12)

* Lenoir County active cases: 1,022 (+211 or +26 percent since Jan. 12)

* New Lenoir County confirmed cases — last 14 days: 1,258 (+101 or +8.7 percent since Jan. 12)

* New Lenoir County confirmed cases — last seven days: 594 (-2 or -0.3 percent since Jan. 12)

* Lenoir County deaths: 180 (+10 or +5.9 percent since Nov. 30) 

* Lenoir County vaccinations (partially vaccinated): 31,945 (+36 or +0.1 percent since Jan. 12; 57 percent of county residents)

* Lenoir County vaccinations (fully vaccinated): 29,680 (+44 or +0.1 percent since Jan. 12; 53 percent of county residents)
