County of Lenoir issued the following announcement on Sep 24. 

N.C. confirmed cases: 1,368,743 (+18,046 or +1.3 percent since Sept. 21.

* N.C. deaths: 16,108 (+297 or +1.9 percent since Sept. 21) 

* Percent of N.C. residents tested who are positive: 8.6 (-2.4 percent since Sept. 21)

* Percent of Lenoir County residents tested who are positive: 8.2 (-0.8 percent since Sept. 21)

* N.C. currently hospitalized: 3,359 (-105 or -3 percent since Sept. 21)

* Eastern Region currently hospitalized: 440 (-10 or -2.2 percent since Sept. 21)

* Lenoir County confirmed cases: 8,897 (+159 or +1.8 percent since Sept. 21)

* New Lenoir County confirmed cases — last 14 days: 705 (-88 or -11.1 percent since Sept. 21)

* New Lenoir County confirmed cases — last seven days: 258 (-56 or -17.8 percent since Sept. 21)

* Lenoir County cases per 100,000 residents: 15,902 (+284 or +1.8 percent since Sept. 21)

* Lenoir County active cases: 513

* Lenoir County deaths: 163 (+4 or +2.5 percent since Sept. 21) 

* Lenoir County vaccinations (partially vaccinated): 28,670 (+152 or +0.5 percent since Sept. 21; 51 percent of county residents)

* Lenoir County vaccinations (fully vaccinated): 25,728 (+257 or +1 percent since Sept. 21; 46 percent of county residents)
