COUNTY OF SAMPSON: Public Notice of Personal Property Surplus Sale

County of Sampson issued the following announcement on Oct. 2. 

The Sampson County Board of Commissioners, at its meeting on September 13, 2021, authorized the sale of personal property declared surplus by public auction of several vehicles that include Champion Vans; Chevrolet Tahoes, Silverado and Trucks; Dodge Chargers, Trucks and Vans; Ford Crown Victoria, Focus, Expedition, Explorer, Bus and Vans; and a Nissan Maxima.  Included in the sale are miscellaneous items of furniture, equipment and supplies and Unclaimed/Seized property.

The auction is scheduled to be held at 9:30am, Friday, October 8, 2021 in the area behind the Sampson County Public Works Office on Commerce Street, Clinton, North Carolina.  All items shall be sold as is and where is.  No warranty or guarantee, written or implied is offered.  The surplus property will be sold to the highest bidder for cash or approved check.  Property shall be removed from the site immediately following the sale.
