County of Wayne issued the following announcement on Apr. 12.
The following schedule changes will be taking place this week in observance of Good Friday:
- County of Wayne Government Offices closed Friday, April 15, 2022. Offices will reopen on Monday, April 18, 2022 for normal business hours.
- All branches of the Wayne County Public Library closed Friday and Saturday. Library branches will be open on Monday for normal business hours.
- The Peggy M. Seegars Senior Center will be closed Friday and Saturday. The Senior Center will be open Monday for normal business hours.
- The Wayne County landfill and convenience centers will be closed Friday. The landfill and convenience centers will reopen Saturday for normal business hours.
- GWTA will be operating on a “Saturday Schedule” with reduced hours on Friday.
