County of Wayne issued the following announcement on June 27.

The following schedule changes will be taking place this week in observance of Independence Day:

County of Wayne Government Oﬃces closed Monday, July 4, 2022. Offices will re-open Tuesday, July 5, 2022 for normal business hours.
All branches of the Wayne County Public Library closed Monday. Library branches will be open on Tuesday for normal business hours.
The Peggy M. Seegars Senior Center will be closed Monday. The Senior Center will be open on Tuesday for normal business hours.
The Wayne County landfill and convenience centers will be closed Monday. The landfill and convenience centers will re-open Tuesday for normal business hours.
The Wayne County Animal Shelter will be closed Saturday and Monday. The Animal Shelter will re-open Tuesday for normal business hours.
