County of Wayne issued the following announcement on Sep 2.

The following schedule changes will be taking place in observance of Labor Day:

County of Wayne Government Oﬃces will be closed Monday, September 6, 2021. Offices will re-open Tuesday, September 7, 2021 for normal business hours.
All branches of the Wayne County Public Library will be closed Monday. Library branches will be open on Tuesday for normal business hours.
The Peggy M. Seegars Senior Center will be closed Monday. The Center will be open Tuesday for normal business hours.
The Wayne County landfill and convenience centers will be closed Monday. The landfill and convenience centers will re-open Tuesday for normal business hours.
The Wayne County Animal Shelter will be closed Saturday and Monday. The shelter will re-open Tuesday for normal visiting hours.
