County of Wayne issued the following announcement on Jan. 15.

The following schedule changes will be taking place next week in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day:

County of Wayne Government Oﬃces closed Monday, January 17, 2022. Offices will re-open Tuesday, January 18, 2022 for normal business hours.
All branches of the Wayne County Public Library closed Monday. Library branches will be open on Tuesday for normal business hours.
The Peggy M. Seegars Senior Center will be closed Monday. The Senior Center will re-open Tuesday for normal business hours.
The Wayne County Landfill and convenience centers will be closed Monday. The landfill and convenience centers will re-open Tuesday for normal business hours.
The Wayne County COVID-19 vaccine clinic will be closed Monday. The clinic will re-open Tuesday for normal business hours.
