County of Wayne issued the following announcement on Sept. 1.
The following schedule changes will be taking place for County offices in observance of the 2022 Labor Day holiday:
- County of Wayne Government Offices will be closed Monday, September 5, 2022. Offices will re-open Tuesday, September 6, 2022, for normal business hours.
- All branches of the Wayne County Public Library will be closed Monday, September 5. Library branches will re-open on Tuesday, September 6, for normal business hours.
- The Peggy M. Seegars Senior Center will be closed Monday, September 5. The Senior Center will re-open Tuesday, September 6, for normal business hours.
- The Wayne County landfill and convenience centers will be closed Monday, September 5. The landfill and convenience centers will re-open Tuesday, September 6, for normal business hours.
- The Wayne County Animal Shelter will be closed Saturday, September 3, and Monday, September 5.
- The shelter will re-open Tuesday, September 6, for normal visiting hours.
