County of Wayne issued the following announcement on Aug. 25. 

Join us at The Maxwell Center for a community blood drive!

**All donors will receive a $20 eGift Card.**

Donors are required to wear a mask. Donors can save time and ensure social distancing and limited interaction by making an appointment online at:
donate.thebloodconnection.org

Please review these guidelines for blood donors:

-Potential donors who are on certain types of medications like antibiotics or blood thinners will not be able to give blood.

-Staff will check for fever and ask screening questions to ensure positive overall health.

-Donors must be 17 or older; 16 year olds can donate with parental consent.

-Please do not bring minors to the blood drive site with you. They cannot be in the car while you donate.
