COUNTY OF WAYNE: COVID-19 Testing Unavailable Until Further Notice

County of Wayne issued the following announcement on Jan. 1

The Wayne County Health Department will not have COVID-19 testing available until further notice. Demand for testing has increased significantly nationwide over the past two weeks, and additional test kits have been ordered from the State. At this time, testing is expected to resume by the middle of next week. Updates on testing availability will be posted at www.waynegov.com/testing.

For individuals who need of a COVID-19 test, visit covid19.ncdhhs.gov/about-covid-19/testing/find-my-testing-place to find another testing option during this time. We apologize for this inconvenience and will continue to update residents on impacts to services provided.
