County of Wayne issued the following announcement on Feb 10.

The Wayne County Health Department will be distributing N95 masks at four locations across the County. Each household will receive one box of 20 masks, first come, first served, while supplies last. N95 masks will be available at the following locations on weekdays:

  • Pikeville Library at 107 W. Main Street in Pikeville (9a-1p, 2p-6p)
  • Goldsboro Library at 1001 E. Ash Street in Goldsboro (9a-5:30p)
  • Steele Memorial Library at 119 W. Main St. in Mt. Olive (9a-6p)
  • Health Department COVID-19 Vaccine/Testing Clinic at 1320 W. Grantham Street in Goldsboro (9a-5p)

*ALL 10,000 masks the Health Department received have been distributed. Additional masks are being requested and updates will be provided at www.waynegov.com/masks. We appreciate your patience as we work to request additional masks to distribute.

Locations that are crossed out are currently out of stock.

Masks are also being distributed to riders on GWTA. These masks are being provided free of charge by the federal government to local pharmacies and health centers across the United States. You may also check your local pharmacy to see if they have received a shipment of these free N95 masks.
