DUPLIN COUNTY LIBRARY: FOCUS Broadband Offers ACP Program

0Comments

Duplin County Library issued the following announcement on Dec. 2.

Attention Duplin County families with children enrolled in public schools, FOCUS Broadband offers any family who qualifies for the ACP program a NO COST, 50Mbps internet plan!

The ACP program provides a $30 benefit that covers the cost of our 50Mbps service.

Anyone who qualifies for Lifeline Assistance, or any household who has a student enrolled in the Duplin County Public School system, qualifies for ACP. Homes with students in the Duplin County Public Schools System qualify, regardless of income.

This is because Duplin County Schools offers a free lunch and breakfast program to all students.

Participants wanting to take faster broadband speeds can apply the $30 credit to a faster plan if they choose to do so, but they would be responsible for the balance of anything not covered by the $30 credit.
