Kinston Police Department issued the following announcement on Feb 10.

Congratulations to Officer Mewborn for being selected as the KPD Officer of the Month for January 2022.  Officer Rob Mewborn has been a member of the Kinston Police Department since January 2018 and an employee of the City of Kinston for over 17 years.  He is currently the School Resource Officer at Kinston High School.  Congratulations Officer Mewborn!
