Gas was priced at $2.26 per gallon.

The cheapest per-gallon price for regular gas in Sampson County during the week ending Mar. 7 was $2.55 per gallon.
The week’s cheapest midgrade gas price in Lenoir County stood at $2.89 per gallon in the week ending Feb. 28.
The week’s cheapest diesel gas price in Sampson County stood at $3.19 per gallon in the week ending Feb. 28.
