1st Congressional District Republican Candidates Forum
Come and meet the candidates who would like to represent you in Congress. This forum will be held on Monday, February 10th at 7pm in the Powers Recital Hall at the Dunn Center at NC Wesleyan College in Rocky Mount. It is free and open to the public. Please encourage your Republican and unaffiliated friends, neighbors, and relatives to attend this event.
All three Republican candidates, Ethan Baca, Michele Nix, and Sandy Smith are planning to attend the forum. It is important that we choose our best candidate to face the liberal incumbent congressman who has been representing the 1st District for 15 years. (All or a portion of your county and 14 other counties are now located in the 1st District.) Please make plans to come hear these candidates in person, so you will be able to make an informed decision when you vote. (Early voting for this election starts on February 13th, with the primary on March 3rd.) The address of the event is 3400 N. Wesleyan Blvd in Rocky Mount.'
