When the Republican Party opened a new office in Pitt County, Rep. Chris Humphrey (R-Lenoir) was on hand to greet area residents and cheer the creation of the newest office of the GOP.
On Jan. 31, Humphrey posted a link to a WITN video of the opening and said he was “honored to attend.”
The office is located at 200 East Arlington Blvd. in Greenville. Pitt County GOP Chairman Gary Weaver told WITN the new office would be available to support candidates for local, state and national campaigns and a place to store or obtain signs.
“People can come in and pick signs up. If they wish to volunteer, they can call the Pitt County Republican Party and we’d be glad to help,” Weaver told WITN.
There is office space to work from when needed, and the building is available for recording advertisements or podcast episodes. It’s also great for connecting with volunteers and more. It is expected to remain open through the November 2020 election on Nov. 3.
