Lenoir County issued the following announcement on May 2.
* N.C. confirmed cases: 10,923 (+414 or +3.9 percent since Thursday)
* N.C. deaths: 399 (+21 or +5.6 percent since Thursday)
* Lenoir County confirmed cases: 77 (+6 or +8.5 percent since Thursday)
* Lenoir County recoveries: 22 (+3 since Thursday)
* Lenoir County deaths: 4 (no change since Thursday)
* Lenoir County tested: 774 (+132 or +20.6 percent since Thursday)
* Lenoir County negative tests: 654 (+185 or +28.2 percent since Thursday)
* Lenoir County pending tests: 43
* Demographic age range for confirmed cases: 15-95
Note: The state of North Carolina is now identifying congregant living settings where ongoing outbreaks are located. Beginning today, it will be released every Tuesday and Friday.
