CITY OF KINSTON: Kinston/Lenoir County Parks and Recreation facilities

City of Kinston issued the following announcement on June 19.

Lions Water Adventure, Holloway Pool, and Fairfield Splash Pad open (June 20, 2020), under strict social distancing and sanitation guidelines following Governor Cooper’s Executive Order as well as guidelines by the Center for Disease Control.

Other City/County facilities, including all other recreation facilities, remain closed to the public at this time.

Grainger Stadium is leased to the Texas Rangers/Down East Wood Ducks. Questions or concerns regarding this facility can be directed to Wade Howell (Manager). The Wood Ducks contact information can be found at https://www.milb.com/down-east/ .

Meetings with city staff can be held over the phone, email, or over Zoom by contacting the appropriate offices. These phone numbers and emails can be located by visiting https://www.ci.kinston.nc.us/ .
