LENOIR COUNTY: COVID-19 daily update for Friday, July 9

Lenoir County issued the following announcement on July 9.

* N.C. confirmed cases: 79,349 (+2,039 or +2.6 percent since Wednesday)

* N.C. deaths: 1,461 (+20 or +1.4 percent since Wednesday)

* Lenoir County confirmed cases: 407 (+7 or +1.8 percent since Wednesday)

* Lenoir County recoveries: 328 (+4 or +1.2 percent since Wednesday)

* Lenoir County deaths: 11 (no change since June 29)

* Lenoir County active cases: 68 (+3 or +4.6 percent since Wednesday)

* Lenoir County tested: 7,236 (+46 or +0.6 percent since Wednesday)

* Percent of Lenoir County residents tested who are positive: 5.6 (no change since Wednesday)

* Lenoir County negative tests: 6,473 (+44 or +0.7 percent since Wednesday)

* Lenoir County pending tests: 296

* Demographic age range for confirmed cases: 1-95
