Rep. Chris Humphrey (R-Lenoir) released a new video advertisement on his Facebook page that outlines his policies in the final days of the 2020 election.
Humphrey is running for election to District 12 against Democratic challenger Virginia Cox-Daugherty.
"Please check out our TV spot," Humphrey wrote in his Oct. 20 Facebook post. "I'll continue to be your voice in Raleigh, standing up for our rural eastern NC values. Thanks for your vote!"
Humphrey highlighted how big politicians usually put urban areas first.
"Raleigh politicians put big cities first and rural communities last," the campaign ad narrator said.
The ad goes on to say that Humphrey puts the whole state first. The video ads that he helped balance the state budget to combat COVID-19.
Additionally, Humphrey labored to raise the pay for educators. During the coronavirus crisis, Humphrey secured millions in relief funds for the state.
Humphrey joined the North Carolina House of Representatives in January 2019.
