Town of Warsaw issued the following announcement on Aug. 25.
Staying in step with Duplin County and the State, Warsaw has now implemented a requirement to wear masks while in Town facilities. The full details are addressed in the bullet points of the Mayor’s Declaration of State of Emergency (as amended).
Section 3. The following restrictions and prohibitions are imposed and in effect during the period of this Emergency Declaration:
• Masks are required in Town of Warsaw facilities, buildings and vehicles for all town employees and visitors, regardless of vaccination status, until further notice.
• Where distancing of six feet (6') between individuals cannot be maintained, whether indoors or outside, masks must be worn.
• Requirement that no public or private gathering of more than 50 persons shall take place within the corporate limits of the Town of Warsaw will remain in effect.
• No other restrictions or prohibitions are imposed at this time.
