County of Wayne issued the following announcement on Sep 2.
The following schedule changes will be taking place in observance of Labor Day:
- County of Wayne Government Offices will be closed Monday, September 6, 2021. Offices will re-open Tuesday, September 7, 2021 for normal business hours.
- All branches of the Wayne County Public Library will be closed Monday. Library branches will be open on Tuesday for normal business hours.
- The Peggy M. Seegars Senior Center will be closed Monday. The Center will be open Tuesday for normal business hours.
- The Wayne County landfill and convenience centers will be closed Monday. The landfill and convenience centers will re-open Tuesday for normal business hours.
- The Wayne County Animal Shelter will be closed Saturday and Monday. The shelter will re-open Tuesday for normal visiting hours.
