County of Sampson issued the following announcement on Dec. 15.
Sampson County is soliciting statements of qualifications (“SOQs”) from engineering firms to provide professional planning, design, surveying, permitting, and construction administration services for the design of water infrastructure projects located within Sampson County, North Carolina. The firm will be required to provide planning, design, surveying, permitting, and construction administration services for water infrastructure projects intended to serve existing resident need for drinking water through the expansion of the county water system.
Copies of the RFQ may be received by contacting David Clack by telephone at (910) 592-7181 or by email at davec@sampsonnc.com or may be picked up at 406 County Complex Rd., Suite 120, Clinton, NC 28328. The RFQ is also posted on the County’s website at www.sampsonnc.com and on the North Carolina Department of Administration’s Historically Underutilized Business (“HUB”) website at https://ncadmin.nc.gov/businesses/historically-underutilized-businesses-hub.
The RFQ for Engineering Services is due no later than 12:00 Noon on Friday, January 21, 2022. SOQs should be in a sealed envelope marked “RFQ Engineering Services Contract for Sampson County Water Infrastructure Projects” and should be mailed to Sampson County, Attn: David Clack, 406 County Complex Road, Suite 120, Clinton, NC 28328 and emailed to davec@sampsonnc.com. SOQs received after this date and time will not be considered. Engineering firms interested in submitting an SOQ should immediately notify David Clack of their interest by mail or email in order to ensure that their firm is placed on a Notification of Interest list for distribution of possible addenda to the RFQ. Addenda will only be sent to those firms that have submitted a Notification of Interest.
The projects described in the RFQ will be funded in whole or in part with federal funding. The selected firm will be required to comply with all applicable federal laws, regulations, executive orders, and the terms and conditions of any funding award.
