County of Duplin issued the following announcement on Jan. 5
Duplin Maintenance will be closing SR1300 E Wards Bridge for a cross line replacement. This cross line is located approximately 1.81 miles E of the intersection with SR1004 Summerlins Crossroads Road which is North of Kenansville. This closure will begin immediately and this road should reopen by 5:00 p.m. today.
