City of Goldsboro issued the following announcement on Feb 14.
The Goldsboro Police Department would like to congratulate and welcome Officer C. Thompson and Father D. Wyly to the GPD family.
Officer Thompson was officially sworn in as a Police Officer of the Goldsboro PD by Mayor Ham and will be assigned to the Patrol Division C-Shift.
Father Wyly of Saint Stephen’s Episcopal Church was appointed as the Goldsboro Police Chaplain.
