Kinston Police Department issued the following announcement on May 3.
The North Carolina Gang Investigators Association will be in Kinston on June 25-27th to present Basic Street Gang Investigator Training and will be in Kinston again on July 27-29 to present Advanced Street Gang Investigator Training. Both training sessions will be hosted by Lenoir Community College and will take place in Briley Auditorium on the LCC campus (231 NC Hwy 58 South, Kinston).
Tuition for the training is free to sworn NC law enforcement officers and is open to all law enforcement agencies. To register, contact Sgt. McLawhorn via email at Sam.Mclawhorn@ci.kinston.nc.us or by phone at (252) 939-3207.
