Town of Mount Olive issued the following announcement on Oct. 17.
The Town of Mount Olive is requesting Qualifications for Engineering Services for grant funds awarded by the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality, Division of Water Infrastructure (NCDEQ-DWI) on August 24, 2022. The amount of funding is $6,600,770.00. The proposed project includes the replacement of critical equipment at the wastewater treatment plant that has reached the end of its useful life.
The fee for professional engineering services will be paid with North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality Division of Water Infrastructure Grant funds. The project has a timeframe of four (4) years.
Copies of the detailed request for qualifications (RFQ), including a description of the services to be provided by respondents, the minimum content of responses, and the factors to be used to evaluate the responses, can be obtained by contacting Town Manager Jammie Royall at 919-658-9539 ext. 2, by emailing his Administrative Assistant at secretary@townofmountolivenc.com or by visiting Town Hall at 114 East James Street, Mount Olive, NC 28365.
