Scam Alert about Spring Fling at Berkeley Park” Event | CITY OF GOLDSBORO PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT: (goldsboroparksandrec.com)
City of Goldsboro issued the following announcement on March 7.
We have been made aware of an unauthorized "Spring Fling at Berkeley Park” event advertised for April 15th, 16th, 29th, and 30th, 2023 that has been shared numerous times on Facebook by a “Banderas Herchery”. This is a fake event.
Please do not fall for their scam. Just like the last time we posted a similar scam, this individual has had multiple scams across multiple states.
And more importantly, the park has not been reserved for a Special Event (which the advertised event would be if it were real).
