2021 has 6.7% of Sampson County residents unemployed

Sampson County recorded an unemployment rate of 6.7% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 1,797 people out of the 59,468 living in Sampson County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Sampson County has remained fairly stable compared to the 6.7% registered in 2020.
