Former Charles B. Aycock High School player and current Mount Olive Trojans right handed pitcher, Carter Gipson, will compete in the NCAA D2 Baseball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number three seed against the sixth seeded Wingate Bulldogs.

The first game is on Thursday, May 16.
