Town of Pikeville Police Department issued the following announcement on Dec. 2.

The department has added another dedicated officer to the roster.

Officer Campbell comes to the department as part time officer currently working with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office DWI Task Force.

Officer Campbell will be a great asset to the department’s dedication to removing impaired drivers from the roadways of our communities.
