Wayne Community College issued the following announcement on Dec. 2.

Financial aid experts will give an overview of what is needed and the steps involved in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®). That form is required to be considered for all federal and most state financial aid for college, including scholarships and grants.

“We will not be completing FAFSAs, but we will be informing students and parents about the process and answering questions,” said Katrina Lee, WCC Financial Aid and Veteran Services Director.

The event will be held 6-8 p.m. in Moffatt Auditorium in the Wayne Learning Center (the building with the flag poles in front) on the college’s main campus in Goldsboro. There is no charge.

For more information about this event, contact the WCC Financial Aid Office at 919-739-6735 or wcc-finaid@waynecc.edu.
